This two-day excursion introduces you to the marvels of Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda, where myriad wildlife and breathtaking scenery await discovery. Upon arrival, your knowledgeable safari guide will transport you into the protected lands, where winding game drives and tranquil boat trips unveil the park’s natural wonders. As dusk falls, a hearty meal and overnight at the lodge allow for recharging before tomorrow’s explorations.

The next morning calls you to awake with the sun for an early game viewing venture. Later, a relaxing walk provides intimate encounters with the landscape. A fortifying breakfast fuels you for craft shopping in Kampala, where skillful drum and woodworkers patiently ply their trades. Before departing Entebbe, moments of rest let impressions of tangled savannas and thriving cultures sink deep into memory.

Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park

You are met and picked up by your safari driver/guide, who will then take you on a three-hour drive southwest of Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park. Do a game drive to the lodge arriving at the perfect time for lunch. This afternoon, go for a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Mburo watching game like hippopotamus as well as birds like pelicans, herons, cormorants, fish eagles.

Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge / Mantana Tented Camp / Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park

This day we go for an early morning game drive to see more game with the hope of encountering the leopard and hyenas as they search for their prey or take a nature walk. Return to the Lodge for breakfast and then relax until we have our lunch then check out for Kampala/Entebbe. En-route visit the Mpambire drum shops and craft shops in Kampala.
