This 6 Days Uganda Wildlife and Primate Safari adventure takes you to some of Uganda’s top attractions. Upon arrival in Entebbe, spend your afternoon exploring. Next, travel to Murchison Falls National Park where you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for tracking before lunch in Masindi. Witness the powerful Nile River forced through a narrow gorge, creating a breathtaking sight atop the falls.
The next day, venture into the park’s northern sector on a game drive to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes and more wildlife. Later, relax on a launch boat ride to the falls’ base, viewing animals and birds along the way.
Then head to Kibale National Park to spend a day chimpanzee tracking and seeing other primates like various monkeys. You can also take an afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi wetland.
Lastly, drive back to Kampala through Mubende and Mityana with a lunch stop. Permitting time, explore Kampala or craft shops before transferring to Entebbe for your flight home. Overall, this tour offers an amazing chance to experience Uganda’s natural wonders and abundant wildlife up close.
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala to rest.
Depending on your time of arrival, you can decide to do an activity in the afternoon around Entebbe.

You will check out and drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino Tracking. After the tracking, you will embark on your journey to Masindi for lunch after which you will proceed to the top of the falls to see how the Nile is forced through a narrow gorge falling 43 meters high. This scenery is said to be the largest natural force of water in the world creating what appears to be a boiling caldron of water. From the top of the falls, you will drive to your accommodation.

After breakfast, drive to the northern sector of the park for game drives. Most of the game is found in the area north of Victoria Nile and East of the Albert Nile and Lake Albert (where the movie “The African Queen” was filmed). The likely game to be encountered during our drive are Elephants, Buffalos, Rothschild giraffe, Oribi, waterbuck, hartebeest, bushbuck, leopard, lion, bush pigs, mongoose, warthog, jackal, genet, hyenas, bat-eared fox, sitatunga and Uganda Kob. In the afternoon, take a launch boat to the base of the falls viewing game and birds en route. We enjoy the 3-hour ride past several hippo schools and Nile crocodiles plus aquatic birds.

After breakfast, drive to the Kibale Forest area via Biso, Hoima, and Kyenjojo to Fort Portal with a lunch stopover en route. The journey will take approximately 8 hours along the western arm of The Great African Rift Valley passing through beautiful agricultural countryside, tropical rain forests, and tea plantations. Check-in your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, proceed for Chimpanzee tracking. The exciting activity begins in the morning and may take a whole day or a few hours. Briefing is done by the UWA park rangers at the park headquarters. Besides being human’s close cousins, the chimpanzees, Kibale National Park hosts other primates such as red colobus, L’hoest, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, and grey-cheeked mangabey among others. The swamp walk at Bigodi wetland is an optional activity in the afternoon.

Check out and return to Kampala via Mubende and Mityana with a lunch stopover en route. The drive is about 5 to 6 hours through local villages, vegetable gardens and green lush vegetation along the roadsides. Time allows you may do a Kampala sightseeing tour and visit craft shops. Transfer to Entebbe for your outbound flight.
