This thrilling 5 Day Gorilla Trekking Safari through Uganda’s verdant landscapes commences upon arriving at Entebbe International Airport, where transportation awaits to the lodging offering respite. The subsequent day ushers a scenic drive westward to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where two nights will be spent within the park’s boundaries. On the third day comes the pulse-quickening opportunity to observe rare mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, as trekking through dense vegetation brings one face-to-face with these elusive great apes.

After witnessing gorillas in the mist, checking out of the accommodations heralds departure for Lake Mburo National Park, with an evening and following morning game drives during the single night’s stay. Finally, on the fifth day comes lunch and transportation back to Entebbe International Airport for the outbound flight or hotel, concluding this adventure threading together wildlife reserves within comfortable lodges such as Mahogany Springs, Buhoma Haven, Gorilla Bluff, Mihingo, Rwakobo Rock, and Mantana Camp. This excursion perfectly suits nature devotees, thrill-seekers, and anyone desiring immersion in Uganda’s scenic beauty and abundant fauna.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe – Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our company representative who will then transfer you to your accommodation to rest.

Day 2: Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, drive westwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is a long day drive but enjoyable as you drive through the rolling hills of Kabale locally named “the Switzerland of Africa”. Lunch stopover at White Horse Inn Kabale. After lunch proceed with your drive to your accommodation in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will help organize your packed lunch boxes and water and drive you to the park headquarters. Here you receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts from the head ranger guide. Your driver guide will help arrange for porterage services if you need them. Ready for a long day of trekking, we then enter the gorilla sanctuary. Please note that on reaching the mountain gorillas, you are allowed to spend only 1 hour with them.

Gorilla trekking may take a long time before encountering the apes, be prepared to encounter muddy conditions sometimes with rain overhead, so come with a raincoat, sturdy hiking boots, poncho, gloves, long pants and gloves.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a lunch stopover en route. Do an evening game drive in the park.

Day 5: Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala/Entebbe

This day you take a morning game drive, have lunch and set off to Entebbe / Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain apes. Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight, or to your hotel.
